• The V3 Center
The V3 Center will be a safe and welcoming environment; a place where people can exercise their mind, body and soul alongside their neighbors and friends. In addition to a 50-meter pool that was used for the 2021 Olympic swim trials, and 25-meter training pool, the building will contain spaces for running/walking and biking, not to mention wellness-related retail and community gathering space.

The Need

While community fitness facilities are commonplace in suburban Minneapolis and St. Paul, a facility like the V3 Center is desperately needed in North Minneapolis. It is unfathomable, in the Land of 10,000 lakes that a year-round space for people to learn how to swim does not exist in this community. The lack of access and opportunity has led to unacceptable drowning disparity rates in communities of color.
